Cofounders of @luckychap Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley (Robbie’s husband), and Josey McNamara have never been drawn to a typical office environment. “We’ve always been averse to conference rooms,” says McNamara, noting that LuckyChap’s earliest HQ was no more than a kitchen bench in a London flat. Design

The Pyramid of Khafra, once covered in smooth white casing stones, was built with over 2 million limestone blocks and aligns precisely with the cardinal points. Though slightly shorter than the Great #Pyramid, its higher ground and preserved summit stones make it appear taller. Early explorers once climbed to the top—now forbidden—where the view reveals the scale and precision of ancient Egyptian engineering. The nearby Great Sphinx and temple structures were all part of Khafra’s grand funerary complex. 📸: @mohmd.sayed #architectanddesign

Overlooking a golf course and backed by forest, VC. House embraces its surroundings through layers of stone, glass, wood, and red tile. Elevated on a natural stone base, the residence combines transparency and texture to frame nature from every angle. Inside, the refined use of materials—natural stone, warm wood, and expansive glazing—evokes a hotel-like atmosphere while maintaining a minimalist architectural language rooted in detail, light, and landscape. _project: VC.
