Currently under construction in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is set to open in 2026. Designed by MAD Architects, the sculptural building rises like a pair of interwoven canopies, blending seamlessly with its 11-acre campus of green spaces, galleries, theaters, and more. This will be the first institution dedicated entirely to narrative art across cultures and mediums — from iconic works by artists like Frida Kahlo and Norman Rockwell to film props and concept art from George Lucas’s archive. More than a museum, it’s a space where architecture, art, and storytelling come together to invite the public into new, imaginative worlds.
