Join @enricanaj for a five-day photographic retreat on the island of Lesvos, Greece 🇬🇷 Running from September 29 to October 3, Canaj invites participants to develop a photographic project under his personal mentorship, on an ancient island that “holds the weight of so many stories,” he says. For years, Canaj has photographed migrants, shepherds and residents in Lesvos, where he has witnessed “the fragility and strength of the human spirit.” Participants have the chance to deepen their practice through one-to-one sessions with Canaj, immersive field work and feedback from fellow photographers. “In Lesvos, it’s not just about observing — it’s about being. You don’t pass through; you live with it, even if only for a while,” says Canaj. 🔗 Read more at the link in the @magnumphotos bio. PHOTOS: (1) On the Aegean coast. Lesvos, Greece. 2019.
