some of my favorite moments from 2024 ☆
1. def started the year off with tour and tho there were countless memories during the 4 months, i had a “moment” on stage during my last show in Montreal. It was an emotionally complex feeling. despite what a lot of people might think, deep down, i’m really not kind to myself. To avoid a whole trauma dump (cuz we’ll be here forever lol), that moment i really felt my inner voice tell me “im fucking proud of you.” i guess it really stuck with me to be able to share that moment with you all. don’t get me wrong, I WAS REALLY EMBARASSED INSIDE FOR A BIT, but fuck it, yeah i cry sometimes and i got really good people around me that give me the best hugs. thats fucking priceless, so thank you all.
2. amongst the chaos of traveling and work, been making an effort to see my godkids. one time, my godson came up to me and handed me some hand-picked flowers from the yard as well as a heart with 25 written on it. i asked him “why did you write 25?” and he told me “i love you so much and 25 is the biggest number”.. damn wait till this kid learns about 26
3. so lets be clear with one thing. I AM SHIT AT GAMES. but who doesn’t love a good pew pew now and then. if some of you remember my absolute first 24hours of learning Valorant (back in beta), my friends decided it’d be really funny to enter me into an actual tournament with pros and stream it. FUCK IT WAS SO BAD HAHA. this year however, YOUR GIRL FUCKING MADE IT. not only did i get to play a show match at MASTERS but I GOT A CLUTCH. so moral of the story, playing valo like a coward works.
4. for the past couple of months, the team and i have been working on some new tracks. i get moments like this where @bleachxmusic (Jeremy) decides to make.. “robot whale” noises?? i dont know what the final version is gunna end up like but we’ll see haha. music is so weird, i love it.
