Back in the gym and it feels (not) so good.
After a six-week hiatus, my body is feeling tight, achy, and anything but smooth. But honestly, I’m just grateful to be moving again and lifting some weight.
When I return after time off, my goal is always to ease back in with purpose: focusing on slow, controlled movements, deep range of motion, and isometric holds to keep my joints happy and protected. It’s way easier to build good habits now than to fix bad ones later.
