Yes, but who cleans up the cat poop? I lived in an Italian borgo for many years and we took care of the cats re food and care when needed, but rarely wanted to clean up their poop on communal paths and spaces. Not a fan I'm sorry. Too many times they would poop at my doorstep, and not just mine.
