yesterday Ender turned 4! 🧚🏼 everyday I am left speechless and awe-struck by how kind, insightful, gentle, funny, creative, curious and COOL he is. everyday I meet a new kid. one that grows in observation of (and harmony with) the world in a way that I quietly learn from over and over again. I can’t wait to see the person he keeps becoming. if it means more and more and more of him, then I can’t imagine the joy that’s in store. his favorite animal is a duckling. his favorite painter is Van Gogh. he loves A Tribe Called Quest and The Cranberries. he collects tiny treasures and stores them in jars. he is the first person to notice if a friend gets hurt. he remembers names and favorite colors, and his is yellow. because he is joy. he is absolute magic. he’s the best thing I’ve ever been a part of. 🪄
