Altitude and Attitude. The BUGATTI Grand Tour ascended Portugal’s highest peaks, weaving through the Serra da Estrela. From historic Cistercian monasteries to the celebrated Mesa de Lemos and the iconic Burel Factory, tradition and innovation met at every turn. The second driving day began with a 60km drive to a coffee stop at the Mosteiro de São João de Tarouca. The setting was spectacular – not only the monastery itself, steeped in history, but also the surrounding town, with its cobbled streets and captivating charm. A highlight of the day was the exhilarating route through the mountain roads of the Serra da Estrela. Narrow and winding throughout, the roads also offered longer straights – ideal for acceleration. Demanding on both brakes and engines, it was a route designed to thrill. The day concluded at Casa de São Lourenço – Burel Panorama Hotel, perched high above the Glacier Valley.
