Jordan
Introduced in the early 1900’s for transport and colonisation of Western and Central Australia, these camels were well suited to our harsh climate. This big girl stands 2.6m tall and weighs over 700kg. She is installed at the Spinifex Brewing Co’s ale house on Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia. “The Dromedary Camel” (2021): Constructed from retired tools, machine parts and farm scrap sourced throughout rural Western Australia. 📸 @deannestrangedesign
