A few days Turkiye! 🇹🇷 We had the honour of being invited by @turkishairlines to attend the premiere of the ‘Inner Portrait’ project by @refikanadol, an incredibly moving documentary that followed the journey of four individuals who had never travelled before. His boundless creativity & humility, makes him just such an inspiration 🥹 Although a short trip, we spent our time enjoying the art, culture and history of Istanbul. But the best part? Meeting all the incredible people also on the trip! I don’t get out to meet other passionate creatives as often as I’d like, so it was really inspiring. A thank you to the wonderful hospitality by Turkish Airlines for having us be part of this incredible time! I’m not used to being treated so lavishly, so flying in such comfort on a direct flight from Melbourne to Istanbul was an EXPERIENCE 🤯😭. I can’t wait til the day I come back and see more of this beautiful country ❤️

This painting was a visualisation of what I think it’s like to dream. My dreams are always disconnected and nonsensical, almost like watching scenes flicker from one to another. In a way, it reminds me of being a looking out the window of a train, watching as the view goes by 🚂 💭 We don’t really have control of where we go or what we dream, so we sit aboard the train each night and watch wherever it takes us. It’s in these few hours when we sleep and dream, that we seem to no longer be bound by the limits of the real world, but instead become passengers to our subconscious, riding along with the waves of our imagination. #brbchasingdreams —— #watercolorart #fantasy #surreal #artstyle #dream

trust the process! 😮‍💨 this was a little watercolour experiment from earlier this year trying a new painting approach. I wanted to paint low light, building subtle shadows within the shadows.
