Presenting a complicated desk clock with a perpetual calendar, a weekly calendar, and a 31-day power reserve (Reference 27000M). Its high-performance manually wound caliber is the subject of nine patent applications and ensures a rate accuracy of +/- 1 second per day combined with the user-friendliness worthy of a 21st-century timepiece. The refined, timeless case is enhanced by green ‘Grand Feu flinqué’ enamel over a swirling ‘guilloché’ pattern. With this new timepiece, Patek Philippe perpetuates its rich heritage by drawing inspiration from a desk clock with perpetual calendar and eight-day power reserve delivered in 1923 to James Ward Packard, as well as from a model of the same type sold in 1927 to another American collector, Henry Graves Jr. Both are now preserved in the Patek Philippe Museum.
