The 3D Bitmoji update has taken away what made Bitmoji so special: fun, charm, and accurate self-expression. Now we’re left with avatars that feel stiff, robotic, and uncomfortable to look at. It doesn’t feel like “us” anymore. Snapchat was ahead of the curve with the original 2D Bitmoji. Replacing it with a generic, metaverse-style design is not an upgrade. It’s a step backwards, and it’s left many users feeling misrepresented and frustrated. This wasn’t necessary. We know it’s not a technical issue. Snapchat supported multiple styles before. If people want 3D, let them choose it. But don’t force it on everyone. Many of us would rather keep our classic avatars, even without access to the new features. Some of us would even pay for that option. Please bring back the choice. That’s all we’re asking for. #BringBackClassicBitmoji
