“The Cape Buffalo”: Africa’s largest and most formidable bovid, has often been considered the deadliest of the big 5. Well known for its large horns and ill-temper when threatened. This 800kg specimen is constructed from retired tools, machine parts and farm scrap sourced through out Western Australia. He also wields a set of 1.4m wide stainless steel horns and stands 2m tall. Very happy with how he turned out, especially the texture in the horns. Stainless steel is such a pain-staking medium but it creates such a polished finish like no other.
