This image comes from a photo that I shot of the actress Gretchen Mol as Bettie Page for The New York Times Magazine. Gretchen is an amazing actress, who starred in Mary Harron’s film The Notorious Bettie Page. I used an inflatable lobster to represent both masculine and feminine qualities of the internal and external world.
