They had to sneak him into their hotel room — wait to see where he is now 💙 Nico told us how they tried to find Koda's family but no one claimed him, and how they even found a local bar owner to watch him for a few weeks so they could sort out paperwork and flights! ❤️ Keep up with Nico and Koda on TikTok: kodafromgreece

I was sent to New Orleans to photograph Hurricane Katrina and on the second day I was there, Jambalaya (Jamba) found me in the streets of her abandoned Ninth Ward neighborhood I was photographing. She never left my side and six weeks later I lied to myself and said I’m flying her back to LA with me so I could “find her a good home”. I did find her a good home. The good home ended up being my home. She lived 15.5 amazing years running on the beach and watching the sunset drop into the ocean. everyday.❤️🐶😎

My dog, Bear, is a rescue from Greece too! It’s crazy to think of these amazing dogs living on the streets. Bear is living his best life now and I couldn’t be more in love. He saved me! ❤️

The only red carpet event I care about is getting invited to a new jungle to hang with indigenous , new species of Animals , new opportunities to sharpen my skills and to learn ! Some of my friends that live in these villages that I visit are more Tarzann than I’ll ever be and that inspires me! I wrote down Sumatra on my whiteboard in my room 10 years ago and still have it up there till this day … when I finally arrive home I’ll check it off my list ! It also makes me so excited for the other countries and ideas I have on that same board that get me FIRED up to prepare for the next journey ! INDONESIA I LOVE YOU 🇮🇩 MANTAPPPPPPP Thanks for always making me feel home and letting me work on my passion in your homes 🫂 I will be back soon 🤜🏾🔥🤛🏾😎

Should the Brooks Falls bears be shot from helicopters? That’s what the Alaska Department of Fish and Game is trying to do—expanding a predator control zone just 50 miles from Brooks Falls, 3 miles from Lake Clark, and 30 miles from Katmai. Under this program, ADFG has already killed 197 brown bears in the past two years—including mothers and their cubs—by aerial gunning from helicopters. Let that sink in. This program was ruled illegal—and now they want to bring it back through a rushed process. What’s worse? 📉 There’s no scientific evidence that killing predators helps caribou herds. 🦅 In some years, golden eagles killed more calves than bears or wolves. 🐺 They already killed 250 wolves in this region by 2017—and the Mulchatna herd still collapsed. Predator control doesn’t work. But the damage to wildlife is irreversible. So why kill iconic, protected wildlife for a program that’s been proven ineffective and is a waste of taxpayer money? We can still stop this. 📝 Comment “save the bears” and I’ll DM you the link to submit a public comment. Takes 2 minutes. You don’t have to be from Alaska. But your voice can help protect these bears. 🛑 Deadline: July 7 🗓 Hearing: July 14 Let’s speak up before more lives are lost. Please share widely 🙏🐻 #SaveTheBears #BrooksFalls #Katmai #LakeClark #AlaskaBears #BrownBears #BearCubs #AlaskaWildlife #ProtectWhatYouLove #WildlifeConservation #GrizzlyBear #BearViewing #NatureMatters #BeTheDifference #ConservationMatters #WildlifeProtection #AlaskaNature #ExploreAlaska #VisitAlaska #Ecotourism #PredatorControl #WildlifePhotography #WildlifeVoice #natgeo #natgeowild #nationalgeographic #yourshotphotographer #natgeotravel

Traveling through seven countries with two dogs and a baby took a little extra planning, but it was an experience we’ll always be grateful for. We love discovering new places and hoped that wouldn’t change when we became parents. So we brought our baby along and embraced the adventure as a family of 5. Thankful for the memories, the laughter, and everything we learned along the way like: – I can’t believe I didn’t use packing cubes before this – dogs were welcome nearly everywhere – changing tables are rare, so be creative – strollers don’t always work, so bring a carrier – baby books are a great way to learn some new languages – there are stairs... lots of stairs #goldenretrieverlife #dog #travel #europe #petfriendly #baby #smile
