Happiest 8th Birthday Baloo!! Still can’t wrap my head around that you’re already 8… time really flies when we’re with you. You’re the best kitty in the world and our life just wouldn’t be as special without you in it 💚 So happy happy birthday B, I can’t wait to celebrate many more trips around the sun with you! We hiked to what we call “Henry’s Meadow” to celebrate Baloo. It’s a special mountain meadow we visit every year and it’s become such a magical place for us. B always frolics around chasing after bugs, Henry and now Pan always investigate every white rock where a marmot might pop out to say hello, and at sunset we all watch the sun go down over the valley. And this year I swear I could see Henry running down the trail splashing in the same puddles Pancake was playing in. Isn’t that the beauty of nature? There’s always a place we can visit and “see” Henry. We might move houses or states, but “Henry’s Meadow” will always be there. So even now that Henry isn’t here, we can still give B the gift of maybe feeling his Henricans again. I think it might be the best birthday present we can give him. Love you to the moon and back and back again, sweet B 🌙
