He’s too smart for his own good. If there’s some kind of food item in the middle of the table, he’ll wait a week for us both to leave the house to get up there and find it. He’s very vocal and not very patient. I grew up as a person who was scared of dogs and didn’t have dogs. I came around to a puppy, and the first time he fell asleep in my lap, I just kind of melted. And then I became obsessed with my dog, and then I became obsessed with every single dog I ever see, and I have a folder of random people’s dogs I’ve never met.”
