[EDIT: fully funded in 3 hours and 11 minutes! link updated to help other dogs in need.] This is Butterfly. She was living outside with crippling arthritis and a large mass on her stomach. Concerned neighbors noticed the 14-year-old struggling - stumbling and unsteady on her feet - so they contacted our rescue partner @amaanimalrescue for guidance. AMA reached out to see how they could help, and the owner made the selfless decision to surrender Butterfly into their care so she could receive the treatment she desperately needed. She now needs surgery to remove the mass, and lifelong medication to ensure she is pain-free for her most golden years.
