Very unfortunate for the people who don’t live in Istanbul, who went out of their way to buy plane tickets and reserve hotel rooms. I love Halsey but her production team messed this one up. It’s been announced since May 30th that she was going to perform on August 21st.

i’m so disappointed, actually. imho, It’s not how the things must be done. we all know that badlands turns 10 years 28 August, then why the first date was 21? It’s much easier for most international fans to attend concert in Turkey than in the USA, Canada, the Great Britain or other countries in European Union. What’s more the big stadium is organised. Why you change the dates? It’s not 2 days, it the whole freaking week. Most people have already organised their trips, but now some of them are forced to change their plans or cancel everything because of these news. And unfortunately I’m one of them. Attending your concert is very important for me because i spent my teenager years listening to your songs and finding myself in your lyrics. I just have no idea if i’ll have an opportunity to visit your concert another time in countries where visa is not required. hope, it’s my first and the last negative comment on your page

I feel really bad for everyone who now can’t go AND are out thousands of dollars because of the change… Halsey has always been so down to earth, so I’ll admit I’m surprised. Whenever artists say “tickets will be honoured for the new date” it reminds me how out of touch they are. Like do you not understand that plane tickets and hotel reservations cannot be changed easily or without cost? Sorry to everyone whose plans were ruined 💔

Rescheduling the concert just a month before and by a whole week is such a huge change. I understand that sometimes things happen and shows have to be moved — but for me, this concert means everything. I’ve spent a lot of money, and I’m flying to another country only for Halsey. I don’t need the trip without the concert — that’s the only reason I’m going. Now I can’t get a refund on my flight, and I also can’t afford to pay extra to come on the new date, August 28th. What are fans like me supposed to do in this situation?
