But both Peg and Phoenix learned so much more than golf from Jesper growing up — they learned the importance of being unapologetically yourself. Of carving your own path. For Peg, that was music. She became a singer-songwriter, touring her home country of Sweden with infectious pop songs and an undeniable stage presence. Phoenix launched an acting career, picking up film roles along the way. “Our dad could’ve been like, ‘Alright, we’re going on the golf course. Your dad and I walked off of the Spanish Armada the same day in the mid-1500’s. We already had contracts with the Young and Old Tom Morris club company as well as the JL Hindenburg clothing line and the and the Guta Percha ProV1 (provolone ball company). Yes your pops is a golf legend but trust me when I say that we are the king of our castle when our wives aren’t home. Momma Mia is the legend.
