2025年7月18日（金）午後7時7分から開催する次なるオンライン展覧会では、『1950s - 2010s History of Modern Fashion Design』展から抜粋したルックを含む、1960年代から2010年代にかけて発表された計54体に及ぶ歴史的衣服の数々を展示致します。イギリス、フランス、アメリカ、ベルギー、日本など、多様な文化背景をベースに育まれ、才能溢れるファッションデザイナーたちによって生み出された作品を無料でご覧頂けます。
本展覧会ではマネキンに服を着せ付けるのではなく、日本の俳優、小松菜奈を被写体として迎え、3D撮影を敢行。全ての作品は、彼女がマネキン”役を演じ、彼女自身が創出する自由自在なポーズとともに展示されます。生きた人体が纏うことにより、服自体の持つシルエットを最大限に引き出しているのです。フィジカルな美術館では不可能なだけでなく、ファッション展示の未来に新しい解釈や大いなる可能性をもたらす、ヴァーチャルミュージアムならではの展示形式に取り組んでいます。
The upcoming online exhibition, launching on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 7:07 PM, will showcase a total of 54 historical garments created between the 1960s and 2010-s including selected looks from the ongoing exhibition "1950s-2010s History of Modern Fashion Design". These pieces, born from diverse cultural backgrounds such as the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Belgium, and Japan, were brought to life by some of the most talented fashion designers of their time. The exhibition is free to view.
Rather than dressing mannequins, this exhibition features Japanese actor Nana Komatsu as the model for an innovative 3D scanning project. Every garment is presented on her, with each pose freely and expressively crafted by Komatsu herself, who embodies the role of a living
"mannequin." By using a real human form, the silhouettes of the garments are brought to life in their fullest potential. This virtual museum format, which would be impossible to realize in a physical gallery, proposes a new interpretation- and exciting possibilities— for the future of fashion exhibitions.
