Photographer and conservationist Carlton Ward Jr. spent years capturing these rare camera trap images of the elusive Florida panther—one of America’s most endangered big cats. As of March 2021, it was estimated that only around 200 remained in the wild, threatened by cars, developments, and a shrinking habitat. Ward’s photos, supported by the National Geographic Society, highlight the urgent need to protect Florida’s wildlife corridors before it’s too late. Head to the link in bio to learn more about these big cats and how we can protect them. Photographs by @carltonward

How can we protect them when the state and governor just built a concentration camp in the middle of one of their habitats?
