纽约旅游

A hundred miles from New York, the East End of Long Island is where New Yorkers go to escape. The towns that look more like coastal New England than NYC. About 160,000 people live year-round on the East End, and although the summertime population swells to an estimated 300,000, the island still offers breathing room. Take in the Atlantic coastline and see a full list of recommendations for 36 hours in Long Island’s East End at the link in our bio. Photos by @cenicola_outtakes

I climbed to the top of this lighthouse 2x. Once in the 70s vacationing with family. Then again in 2003 with my sister & our daughters. The view is spectacular. 🫶🏻👩🏼

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s…Short-Beaked Common Dolphins!!! Short beaked common dolphins can often be spotted from miles away thanks to their penchant for launching themselves into the sky! This one in particular launched itself right through my lens at San Clemente Island yesterday! Viewed aboard @gonewhalewatching

When you’re not sure about your water source, bringing a filter is more than just smart — it’s essential. This time, I’m using the Waterdrop Gravity Water Filter, which not only purifies water but also works as a convenient water reservoir at camp. 💧 Key features: – 5-stage filtration with 0.1 micron ultrafiltration – Removes bacteria, parasites, microplastics, chlorine, and bad taste – Lightweight, compact, and gravity-powered — no batteries needed – 1.5-gallon water bag – Perfect for off-grid camping, survival, and travel Collected, filtered, and ready to use — no waiting, no worries. Exactly what I need when camping light. If you liked this filter, the link is in my bio 💧

Tastes better than the $5 Voss water and is free here in Alaskas alpine mountains . . Disclaimer… I highly recommend doing your own research on what water is safe to drink without filtering as it’s generally going to be a good practice to filter first. However, sometimes in the mountains if I’m remote enough and know I’m near the snow line/water source I don’t mind drinking straight from the source. Again water like this might not affect me but could affect someone who has never drank unfiltered water as our bodies adapt to handing the added bacteria to some extent yet there is always some inherent risk.
