Everyone in the comments saying they wouldn’t want to know should look into epigenetics. Not drinking alcohol, and limiting sugar/processed food intake is huge for brain health.

I know in 2014 we already were really good at predicting who would probably get it, but without anyway to prevent it would only increase your odds through depression of you getting it.

Great, so then you can be afraid for basically the rest of your life. No, thank you. My father has Alzheimer’s, why would I ever want to know. To quote my doctor, “ you need to think very seriously about what you would do with that information”. She knows me I would worry anytime I forgot anything.
