At a time when lounges are more in demand than ever, United travelers who purchase annual memberships can now expect to pay more for less. The airline is reducing amenities and increasing the cost to enter the dozens of United Clubs worldwide, including locations in Tokyo, Chicago and Los Angeles. In an email to customers, it said that the Club membership changes were designed to “keep improving your experience,” noting that new tiers were “tailored to your travel needs.” Read more about how United is introducing a two-tiered membership plan at the link in bio. Classic corporate move. Reduce amenities and raise prices while calling it an improvement.

“Pay more, get less” has been the corporate mantra for decades. Government too. The power structure craves it!

If you go to a lounge an any other world airport you receive a lot more than any of the lounges in the US. Everytime you pay more and receive less. Travel often with @americanair and the US lounges are a joke really

Bad timing as I wanted to try the lounge in Newark on my layover en route to Portugal. Now wish I would have traveled via JFK where there are more lounges available including the Amex Centurion and plenty of Priority Pass lounges. Bad move @united

More expensive to eat meat and drink whiskey. No showers now so people stink.
