CW: dog in distress [EDIT: fully funded in under 2 hours! link updated to help other dogs in need.] This is Fiyero Tigelaar. He’s suffering from chronic seizures, as you can see in slide 3. If you’ve ever had a dog suffer from a seizure, you know the feeling of helplessness that often accompanies it. The cause of his seizures remains unknown, but they can be managed with proper treatment. Fiyero needs further testing, neurology visits, and lifelong medication to live a safe, comfortable life. Thrilled to share the dog was reunited with his owner who took him to the vet where they confirmed he had no fractures and only suffered minor injuries. He was likely knocked unconscious by the initial trauma. A family dog in Changzhou, China squeezed out from the crack in their front door and was hit by a car, becoming stranded in the middle of the road. Many cars passed by as the pup laid in harms way, but it was two stray dogs who finally stepped in to help. After several attempts, the two strays were finally able to pull the injured dog out of the street. Thankfully, the injured dog was soon reunited with their owner, who confirmed the pup survived and only suffered minor injuries. He said he was sad after watching the CCTV footage, but confirmed the dogs who saved his dog have been rescued. 15/10 for both

This is Roger. He was initially rescued from an LA shelter, but began collapsing once in his foster home. He spent 3 nights in the ER, was diagnosed with a heart murmur and other rhythmic irregularities, and was sent home with a life expectancy of just a few months. At 12 years old, putting him through surgery just seemed like too much. Many humans spoil their dogs as much as possible when given such news, so one day Roger was fed a few bites of pizza. His whole demeanor immediately changed, so much so that his doctor no longer believes a heart surgery is even necessary. Roger is absolutely chillin with just the medication he’s on... and maybe the occasional bite of pizza ❤️‍🩹 Thanks to your recent support of our ‘tell your dog i said hi’ merch, @1510foundation was able to pay for all of Roger’s medical care 🤗
