The new 2.5x and 6x zoom lenses on the #DJIMavic4Pro have completely changed how I approach aerial photography... Instead of just capturing the bigger picture, I’m now isolating smaller stories within the landscape - details, patterns, and human moments I never could’ve framed like this before. And the image quality at 6x? Genuinely wild for a drone. This recent shoot in Vietnam was the first time I really put the zoom to work, and it’s safe to say I’ll be chasing shots like this for the rest of 2025. Always feel lucky to see it up close - so much time and effort goes into something we often take for granted! 👨🏾‍🌾🌾

Plenty of rain during last week’s Bali workshop, but it didn’t slow us down one bit. If anything, it gave us moments we wouldn’t have seen otherwise — like this peaceful scene of Pak Tama, who we found resting beneath the roots of a sacred banyan tree with a giant leaf for shelter one wet afternoon. It felt like the perfect way to start my 32nd year - a week full of good company, unpredictability, and reflection. Next stop: Vietnam 🙏🏼🍃

Huge thanks to @djiglobal for letting me test out the new #DJIMavic4Pro. I haven’t had a new drone since 2021, so this one’s been a real treat! Initial thoughts? Unreal. Here’s why: Next level image quality, 51 minutes of flight time, 512GB of internal storage (goodbye memory card panic), full 360° gimbal rotation, huge screen AND two new zoom lenses that have opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me. Oh, and you can shoot in portrait again too, which, as many of you will probably agree, makes a huge difference. Safe to say this one’s got me planning all kinds of aerial missions across Indonesia for the rest of 2025… 🌋🚁 PS.
