This Sunday, the Tour de France cyclists will make their final sprint up the Champs-Élysées in Paris, completing the 112th edition of the Grand Tour 🚵🏽 In 1980, Martine Franck watched from a balcony on Rue de Rivoli as a string of Tour de France cyclists arrived in Paris. Robert Capa captured an excited crowd of children in front of a local bike shop, whose owner was racing in the 1939 Tour de France. Cycling enthusiast @harry_gruyaert had a rare view of the race from inside the Tour's peloton in 1982. Unattached to a newspaper, he photographed the entire atmosphere in color, including the throngs of spectators. "For me, it was just as exciting as the race itself," he said.
