What caught my eye was the mix of elements — the overhead wires, the pink lights reflecting off the wet street, and a figure walking away with a pink umbrella and traditional clothing. It felt like one of those quiet, in-between moments that captures the mood of the city. In Lightroom, I focused on enhancing the colors already present, boosting the purples and pinks. I used the tone curve and masking tools to control the light, to bring more detail into the shadows without losing the moody atmosphere. Nothing too complex — just trying to stay true to what I saw and felt when I took the shot."

Photographer @avdidit turns literal scenes into liminal daydreams 🧡. #MadeWithLightroom "When I started photography, I was heavily inspired by painters like Hopper, Van Gogh and others - artists who often depicted recognizable and somethings mundane scenes but rendered them in a way that felt slightly surreal or fictional. I try to pull this approach into my photography - I shoot subject matter that feels literal or obvious, but use Lightroom to push it beyond reality. I lean heavily on tools like the Tone Curves, and Color Calibration sliders to dial in the look I'm after. I'm never afraid to push a file 'too far' - you can always pull it back."
