A celestial "lightsaber" ✨ This image from Hubble's 26th year shows a glimpse into a turbulent starbirth region known as the Orion B molecular cloud complex, located about 1,350 light-years away. Partially obscured by a dark, Jedi-like cloak of dust, a newborn star shoots twin jets out into space as a sort of birth announcement to the universe. We're sharing one outstanding image from each year of Hubble’s mission to celebrate its upcoming 35th birthday – counting down to a new series of anniversary images!
