This is where I establish the mood and lay the foundation for the color grading that will define the piece. Lightroom offers a powerful suite of tools to shape and balance both light and color throughout the frame. Once I’m happy with where the image is heading, it’s brought into Photoshop where I prepare both print and web versions. Out of that process, a new piece or sometimes even an entire series begins to emerge. Lightroom has been the foundation of my creative work and photography for over twelve years now, and as someone who likes to think of my RAW files as a blank canvas, it’s a remarkably versatile tool to bring my vision to life."
