HUMANS OF BHUTAN 🇧🇹
Over the past ten days, we had the privilege of visiting this enchanting country of Bhutan, nestled quietly in South Asia between India and China. Our experience was among the most authentic travel experiences we’ve ever had. Bhutan stands out for its exclusivity, starting with its $100 per day Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) visa, as the country prioritizes quality tourism over quantity. Our experience was very human, the people we met were very warm and the culture was pristine. We were able to immerse ourselves in their cultural rituals and get a deeper understanding of Buddhism as well 🙌🏼
Along the way we met many locals, who were very keen on having their photos taken. It made it easier that I was wearing the traditional Bhutanese outfit, everyone told me it looks good on me, some even assumed I was local 😅
Thank you @bridgetobhutan for making this trip happen for us 🇧🇹🙌🏼 If you consider traveling to Bhutan (highly recommended), get in touch with them and they will facilitate everything (visa, stays, on-the-ground logistics, activities and hikes) ✈️
