The @SonyAlpha 35mm f/1.4 has been my go-to portrait lens for a long time, especially on my travels, and here is why 📸: 35mm is the perfect focal range to capture close intimate shots of your subject, while keeping enough environmental elements in your frame to help you tell a more compelling story 🖼️ I never miss the focus, even on the widest aperture, the subject’s eye remains sharp, while the smooth background bokeh helps the subject stand out in a cinematic way 🔥 This lens is small and compact, it can easily come with me on any trip, and people tend to be less intimidated by this lens, as compared to larger size lenses 🔭 #SonyAlpha #sponsoredbysony #travel #portrait #photography

Sold two lenses to buy this 35GM. (Sigma 24-70 f2.8, tired of this heavy brick, although very good alrounder), and the 16-35 f4 PZ, didn’t use that one enough to justify it to keep in my bag… This 35 was on my wishlist for so long already… I don’t regret it. Al all! I go for primes, all of the time! Carry more lenses, but so much more character, bouquet and sharpness…❤️ 20 f1.8, 35 GM & 85 Zeiss Batis f1.8. Prefer to carry/switch those in between each other, compared to one 24-70 f2.8.
