In Canada, cougars inhabit British Columbia’s Vancouver Island and areas near Kelowna, as well as Alberta’s Rockies near Calgary. In Mexico, they roam northern regions like Sonora and Chihuahua, while in Florida, the endangered Florida panther lives in the Everglades near Miami and Naples. Yeah, the math ain’t mathing here for me. Clean lines along the cavity and ribs, blood everywhere but under the actual carcass, odd damage to the antlers, and the prey left out in the open? Bare minimum, humans moved it to unblock the driveway. But the whole thing looks sus, especially compared to the carcasses I’ve seen in the wild. 🧐

It’s interesting if you look closely, you can see that the mountain lion was gnawing on the antlers to get pieces of the velvet off too. That’s interesting behavior I didn’t know they do that.
