Portraits of Egypt. Sharing a set of my absolute favorite images I took on my recent Egypt trip! This country made me feel creatively inspired, every location had so much photographic potential 📸💫 I took all of these photos on the @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II, which has become my primary camera body. Some features on this camera that were super helpful: • Enhanced Subject Detection - I set the autofocus tracking to “People” and then I’m always in focus when I’m in frame. Even when the horse was jumping, the autofocus didn’t miss a frame!🐴 • Pre-Continuous Shooting - This camera can capture a half second of images before you fully press the shutter down, helping me make sure I wasn’t too late to capture a moment, like the expression on this woman’s face at the street market.🖤 • Eye Control Autofocus - When you look at a subject through the viewfinder, this camera can sense your eye movement and then automatically focus on what you are looking at. This is SO much faster than manually setting the autofocus point!👀 If you’re taking your photography career seriously and are looking for a professional level camera, I highly recommend looking into the Canon EOS R5 Mark II. Out of all of my pictures, this was by far the best I took. The quality was just insane, and the lighting was almost dreamy. Beyond the pyramids, Egypt is full of spectacular temples that leave you speechless. Massive pillars, each one thousands of years old and intricately carved from floor to ceiling with hieroglyphs. Sleek Egyptian cats look like they just stepped out of the ancient world and came to check on us. Kids splash in the Nile to escape the scorching heat of the day, and massive pods of dolphins excitedly swim circles around us in the Red Sea.
