My daughter used to live in Detroit and I had the opportunity to visit 4 times and I simply love it!!!! ❤️

Love it, lived there for a while and kept visiting 2x a year for years. Apart from that - your note chose to wipe mentions to late 60s riots and to gentrification : major pages in the history of “the incredible shrinking city”. Detroit gave far more to the US and the world than she received back. Bless Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, Blues and Jazz early scenes, Penobscot, Automotive, Motown, Techno, DIA … all longtime survivors
