This is coming in so clutch right now for making a vegetable that my kids will actually eat. I’ve tried this with tons of flavor extras - soy sauce, garlic (both fresh and granulated), Parmesan, panko, lemon, etc. but I almost always just come back to the olive oil and salt version. It’s all about the water and massage. No more dry chewy air fryer broccoli . This is the best of both worlds. Not normally a cottage cheese girlie but HOLY WOW this crust is actually so, so good. The protein is just an added bonus for me. I like to go for a very high temp to get that crust edge really browned - like, crispy crunchy outside but bready and almost airy on the inside. It’s shockingly good. Bonus is that the sautéed peppers, salmon, and dressing work so well in other meal prep applications, too. Just awesome stuff to have in the fridge for the week!
